Summary
Goldenseal contains berberine which inhibits CYP2C9 (warfarin metabolism) and CYP3A4. Can increase warfarin levels and INR. Case reports of major bleeding. This is a high-risk combination. Discuss with your prescriber or pharmacist before combining without close INR monitoring.
