03Hypoglycemic / Additive
SemaglutidewithBerberine
Additive hypoglycemic effects can arise when Semaglutide is co-administered with Berberine. Both compounds independently lower blood glucose through distinct mechanisms — Semaglutide via GLP-1 receptor activation and incretin response, Berberine via AMPK pathway activation and reduced hepatic glucose output. The combination produces glucose reductions documented to exceed either compound alone, without a prescribed co-administration ratio in current literature.
