Summary

CQR-300 increased plasma serotonin by 115% in an 8-week trial (Kuate 2015, n=61). Sertraline inhibits serotonin reuptake. Combining may produce additive serotonergic effects. While serotonin syndrome from this combination has not been reported, the magnitude of CQR-300's serotonin elevation warrants caution. Discuss with prescriber before combining.
