Summary
IGOB131 showed reduced glucose AUC in one independent trial (Mendez-del Villar 2018, MetS patients, 90 days). Earlier Oben-group trials reported fasting glucose reductions to hypoglycemic levels (60-68 mg/dL) but these were not replicated independently. Clinical significance of combining with semaglutide is uncertain. Discuss with prescriber if experiencing symptoms of low blood sugar.
What We Don't Know
This interaction has needs verification evidence. Key gaps may include: direct clinical trial data for this specific combination, dose-response relationships, and long-term outcome data. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.
